About Betsy, Founder of District Elevate
Betsy is a seasoned facilitator and speaker who has lived and worked in the D.C. area for the past 16 years.
Her journey—from leading POLITICO’s sales training function, to walking the National Mall on weekends in search of clarity—has shaped her belief, in the words of the poet David Whyte, that "work is where we meet the world."
Influenced by The Arbinger Institute, biblical wisdom literature, and Priya Parker who wrote "The Art of Gathering", she designs transformative team experiences that elevate her clients' mindset and sense of accountability to one another.
The name District Elevate reflects her love for Washington, D.C. -- a place that inspires thinking beyond one's own ambitions to serve a greater good. Though she is based in the D.C. area, she is committed to elevating leaders and teams inside and outside of our nation's capital.
